Bend Tooling in detail

When considering options for bending tube you will need to specify the following details:

• Tube Material
• Tube Diameter
• Tube wall thickness
• Bend radius – centreline of tube
• Allow 3 x Tube diameter between bend tangent points
• Allow 2 x Tube diameter before first tangent point and after last tangent point

To conform to industry standards, centreline radius is typically 1.5 x Tube diameter or 2 x Tube diameter.
