Nylon Forming in detail
Nylon grades with thermosetting properties are loaded into forming jigs.
When heat is applied the nylon takes on the jig form and when cool retains its shape permanently.
With addition of nylon quick release couplings or composite fittings light weight assemblies can be made to fit in compact spaces like engine fuel systems.
