Bend Tooling in detail
When considering options for bending tube you will need to specify the following details:
- Tube Material
- Tube Diameter
- Tube wall thickness
- Bend radius – centreline of tube
- Allow 3 x Tube diameter between bend tangent points
- Allow 2 x Tube diameter before first tangent point and after last tangent point
To conform to industry standards, centreline radius is typically 1.5 x Tube diameter or 2 x Tube diameter.
